Edgar Lau Racing provides professional motorsport services, including full-day driver coaching and SCCA novice permit evaluations. Because these are scheduled services, the following policy applies.


Services & Refunds

All services are non-refundable once purchased. However, cancellation credits may be issued according to the timeline below.

No cash refunds are provided.


Cancellation Credit Policy

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.

  • 30 days or more before the scheduled date:
    100% credit
  • 30–14 days before the scheduled date:
    50% credit
  • 14–7 days before the scheduled date:
    25% credit
  • Less than 7 days before the scheduled date:
    No credit or refund

Credits:

  • May be applied toward future services
  • Are non-transferable
  • Have no cash value

Weather & Event Cancellations

  • Coaching and evaluations run rain or shine
  • Weather conditions do not qualify for refunds or credits
  • Refunds or credits will only be considered if the track or event is officially closed

Track Day Registration

Customers are responsible for registering separately with the track day or racing organization.

Edgar Lau Racing is not responsible for:

  • Track day cancellations
  • Event scheduling changes
  • Organizer refund policies

No-Shows & Early Termination

  • Failure to attend a scheduled service without notice is considered a no-show and is not eligible for refund or credit
  • No partial-day refunds are provided if a session ends early due to:
    • Mechanical issues
    • Driver fatigue
    • Event interruptions
    • Decisions made by the participant

Changes Initiated by Edgar Lau Racing

In the rare event Edgar Lau Racing must cancel a service due to unforeseen circumstances, customers will receive:

  • A 100% credit, or
  • The option to reschedule
